At Pascoe Vale South Primary School, a group of Grade 5/6 students found their own voice and confidence to share the amazing things that are happening at our school with other students and families through the launching of our very first school newspaper, The Herald Fun. The newspaper includes:- the learning focus in each team, sport updates, cartoons, puzzles and a variety of different articles.

The Herald Fun is produced on a term basis and is distributed to all grades, parents/carers and added to our school website under, Our Students. The newspaper team is lead by Year 6 student editors.

PVSPS strongly believe in student voice and agency and empowering students to own their learning through innovative creative ways just like the Herald Fun magazine. This work demonstrates student agency from the beginning in the development of the ideas these students came up with, right through to the publishing of the Herald Fun.
