Great emphasis is placed on caring for the students, staff and parents by providing an environment that is safe and secure and encourages, recognises and acknowledges achievement and effort. We believe that when students feel safe and accepted at school, they are best able to engage in their learning.  This is reinforced through our whole school wide positive behaviour matrix.

Student voice and agency in learning are the foundations of high engagement, educational achievement and personal growth. Students are a big part of the learning in the classroom. Visible Learning Intentions and Success Criteria helps supports student to talk about their learning by answering the following questions:

2. How are you going?
3. How do you know if you have learnt the focus?
4. How can you improve?
5. Where do you go for help?

We aim to develop students to become more responsible for their own learning, behaviour and interaction with each other and the community.
