Pascoe Vale South Primary is a happy school that encourages learning in a safe and pleasant environment. The school, which is superbly resourced for learning, sport and play, is set within secure established gardens and offers students 21st Century learning spaces. Developing a high level of student skill in Reading, Writing and Mathematics is a core school focus.

With around 300 students we are able to provide a wide range of curriculum programs. A healthy lifestyle is encouraged through an active physical education program that includes interschool sports at the higher levels. Leadership and social skills are developed through programs that include Junior School Council, Buddy program, the You Can Do It! social skills program, camps and excursions. Our Italian program provides cultural experiences and prepares students for languages at local secondary schools. The school community welcomes parent participation in both the classrooms and extracurricular activities.

The school has a special focus on individual needs and talents. These are met with a dynamic range of extension and support programs. All subjects are enhanced by the innovative use of learning technologies with multimedia and computer use fully integrated into all year levels. The lives of our students are enriched through opportunities to participate in visual and performing arts including music, dance and drama.
